The President, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, gave the President of the United States, Barack Obama, a work by Peeter Laurits, “Vooluvõrgud 2 / Waterway Weaves 2”, which was commissioned by the Office of the President of the Republic as a present to the President of the United States of America. Five copies will be printed of this work. The presented copy is the first in the total of five, and is marked 1/5.
It was our honor to produce this piece in cooperation with Vaal Gallery and Peeter Laurits.
This all-custom work is a Diasec with 10mm acrylic glass in front and 3mm black acrylic in back. On the back side there is a laser engraved certificate on ash wood veneer and ash frame for hanging the work.
